Launching in tandem with your very first District 1320 Conference, is the District 1320 Community Award Scheme.

A grant of £1,000.00 is being made available for the club that can demonstrate the best use for the fund, in a project based within your community. The project must have as an objective, ‘Improving Health & Wellbeing’.

The Scheme is in two parts. Initially proposals are to be put on the entry form matching the outlined constraints and forwarded to Jim Hettrick (Contact details on the entry form) to arrive not later than 31st December 2023. A panel of ‘Neutral’ non-1320 judges, will then review all entries and short list of four who will have the opportunity to present their case to Conference in Aviemore on Sunday 24th March, a simple majority vote of delegates present, will decide which club takes the money.

All clubs within District 1320 with the exception of RC Falkirk (the DGs club) are able to enter.

As they say with the National Lottery, “You’ve got to be in it to win it”!
